He was an Army veteran proudly serving in World War II.He served in North Africa, Mediterranean, Italy, France, and Germany.He also loved music, initially playing trombone in an orchestra, and later learning guitar and keyboard.
She grew up in the village of Nassau and graduated from St John’s Academy in Rensselaer, moving to Ballston Spa in 1967.
Pat also vacationed in Maine with her husband Howard. Pat is survived by her children Timothy Samascott of Ballston Spa, Thomas Samascott (Laural) of Ballston Spa, Susan Samascott (Jack) of Ballston Spa, Joseph Samascott (Mary) of Ballston Spa and Stephen Samascott of Glenville; grandchildren Wayne Samascott (Sarah), Shannon Sheft (Mike), Jessica Blust (Anthony), Stanley Janczak (Jennifer), Katie Leiser (Brad), Mary Yager (Kyle), Sarah Samascott (Mac) and Stephanie Samascott; brother in law Edward Falkowski; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held am Thursday, February 8 at St. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, February 7 from 5pm to 8pm at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa.
