I may have omitted something during the write-up here so I will continue to update the thread as things are called to my attention.

I will say up front that I am not a mechanic but do consider myself mechanically "inclined" in that I am not afraid to dig into the car having prepared myself for the task at hand.

Although it still can be a bit of a problem, they have done a decent job cleaning it up so it’s not quite as bad as it used to be.
